Dr. Michael J. Solla

Michael J Solla is a Graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic.  He obtained his degree in 2019 and continues to pursue additional education in the specialties of Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Mike as he is known to all of his family and friends currently resides in Danbury, CT with his wife Diana Mauro who is a lawyer in Westchester, NY.  He is originally from Wolcott, CT where he graduated from Wolcott High School in 2006. He then attended the University of Connecticut obtaining a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of science degrees. He then opened and operated a strength and conditioning facility in his hometown for two years.  He then decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in chiropractic medicine.

He attended the University of Connecticut obtaining a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of science degree. After graduation, he opened and operated a strength and conditioning facility in his hometown for two years while also being the strength and conditioning coach at his former high school.  He then decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in chiropractic medicine.  

While pursuing his chiropractic degree he became involved in his school student government association and became the president during his second year of school.  He was part of starting the dean's council to increase transparency between students, faculty and administration. He created with other students the first integrated physician's panel on campus to increase collaboration between all medical professions.

His next appointment was then to become the national chairmen of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress student group. He led student liaisons for every chiropractic campus in the United States and was part of the expansion to Canada and Europe chiropractic campuses. Mike was instrumental in the creation of monthly content in the form of video conferences and newsletters.

Current Extracuricular Activities

Dr. Solla currently served on the ACA NextGen board which is a group of early practice chiropractic physicians working with Board of Governors and House of Delegates of the American Chiropractic Association to create awareness for new physicians. He has also been appointed to the Professional Development Advisory Board, the ACA Public Health Board, and the ACA Opioid Advisory Board. 

He also works on the Legislative Committee for the Connecticut Chiropractic Association working at the state level for improved legislation for the betterment of all patients to receive non-drug care for non emergent disorders.
